Pour la première fois, un ouvrage collectif traite de la bande dessinée francaise et francophone d'un point de vue linguistique et didactique. 17 contributions de romanistes, d'expert.e.s en bandes dessinées et d'enseignant.e.s de FLE présentent un tour d'horizon de ce vaste domaine, allant de classiques comme Tintin, Astérix ou Les Schtroumpfs à des publications plus récentes comme Les Cahiers d'Esther, Les Vieux Fourneaux ou la BD de non-fiction féministe. Les contributions linguistiques analysent la grammaire de l'oral mise en scène (négation, dislocations, etc.), différentes variétés (langage des jeunes, francais québécois) et des problèmes de traduction. Les contributions didactiques montrent le potentiel de la BD pour l'enseignement du FLE au lycée et à l'université (notamment dans les pays germanophones).

Till Hennings untersucht anhand der überlieferten Handschriften die Sammlung von Dichtung im Ostfrankenreich des 9. Jahrhunderts. Dabei werden die Verbindungen zwischen Institutionen und Personen im kulturellen Netzwerk der karolingischen renovatio offengelegt. Für zahlreiche Handschriften wird erstmals eine kodikologische Untersuchung nach modernen Gesichtspunkten vorgenommen. Diese Analyse der Nutzung der Handschriften ergibt eine Neusituierung der Dichtung bezüglich ihrer Multifunktionalität innerhalb der vielfältigen institutionell-pragmatischen Kontexte. Insbesondere das Verhältnis von Schule und Dichtung wird konkretisiert und gezeigt, dass Dichtung nicht nur Schullektüre und Handschriften mit Dichtung nicht nur Schulbücher waren. Die strukturelle Ordnung des Bandes nach Skriptorien ist ferner ein Beitrag zur Bildungsgeschichte der einzelnen Schreiborte. The topic of this volume is the Collection of Poetry in 9th century East Francia on the basis of the surviving manuscripts. It gives a fresh look on the connections between institutions and persons in the network of the Carolingian 'renovatio'. Many manuscripts have been analysed here according to modern codicological standards for the first time. The analysis of the use of the manuscripts has resulted in a new appraisal of poetry in the institutional and pragmatic contexts of the time. The topic of the educational use of poetry has been greatly expanded in this context. The arrangent of the study in terms of single scriptoria has also presents a educational history of these institutions.

Wie konstituieren sich Gedichtbände - nach dem freien Vers - zu einem ästhetischen Ganzen? Anhand dreier Analysen von Gedichtbänden seit 2000 lotet Fabian Schwitter unter dem Paradigma formaler Wiederholung unabhängig von traditionellen Parametern wie Reim und Metrum Varianten der Konstituierung und Darstellung ästhetischer Ganzheit aus. So unterschiedlich die drei untersuchten AutorInnen - Ulf Stolterfoht, Oswald Egger und Monika Rinck - auch arbeiten, ihre Bücher (fachsprachen, nihilum album, Honigprotokolle) sind geprägt von formalen Gesamtkonzepten, in denen sich, so der methodische Leitgedanke, eine gegensätzliche Gleichzeitigkeit von Kontinuität und Diskontinuität widerspiegelt. Dieser in Anlehnung an den evolutionstheoretischen Begriff des punctuated equilibrium herausgearbeitet Leitgedanke öffnet den Blick für den Rhythmus des Wechselspiels zwischen der Kontinuität einer stabilen Praxis und der Diskontinuität einer Modifikation dieser Praxis.

To entertain an idea is to take it in, pay attention to it, give it breathing room, dwell with it for a time. The practice of entertaining ideas suggests rumination and meditation, inviting us to think of philosophy as a form of hospitality and a kind of mental theatre.
