Ce précieux travail de référence fournit des informations complètes sur les cadres réglementaires et institutionnels régissant les activités nucléaires dans chaque pays de l'OCDE. Il est organisé sur la base d'un format standardisé pour chaque pays afin de faciliter la recherche et la comparaison des informations. C'est un outil utile pour les étudiants et personnes effectuant des recherches académiques ou qui sont à la recherche d'informations pratiques sur la législation nucléaire. Il est présenté en format à feuilles mobiles. Pour chaque pays, un chapitre examine le régime général de réglementation, y compris l'extraction minière, les substances radioactives et de l'équipement, les installations nucléaires, le commerce des matières nucléaires, la radioprotection, la gestion des déchets radioactifs, la non-prolifération et de protection physique, de transport et de la responsabilité civile nucléaire ; et un autre chapitre portant sur le cadre institutionnel et réglementaire, y compris les autorités de surveillance, organes consultatifs, et d'organismes publics et semi-publics. Greece faces an immense, perhaps unique and increasingly urgent challenge. It needs to reform in depth, reconciling emergency measures with long lasting reforms. In the face of growing social and political discontent, the future crucially depends on the government's ability to link short term austerity measures with a long term vision and structural reforms aimed at restoring growth and improving the population's welfare. These reforms depend on a well functioning public administration. Strong measures, starting now, to improve the effectiveness, accountability and integrity of the public administration so that it is "fit for purpose" are a priority. The success of reforms such as privatisation, fiscal consolidation, debt reduction, tax collection and enhanced competitiveness is at stake. This report analyses the issues, sets out the evidence, and makes recommendations for moving forward rapidly to strengthen Greek public governance.
