Anglophonia, the oldest journal of English linguistics published in France, welcomes articles authored by specialists from France and abroad pertaining to the whole range of current trends in English linguistics, considered as an integral part of English studies. Its main objective is to inform the interested reader and the specialist (researchers, teachers, post-graduate students, etc.) of the topical issues being debated in English linguistics today.

Le répertoire implique un point de vue sur l'histoire du théâtre, et une volonté de rendre cette histoire présente, vivante. Il est, par définition, significatif et organisé, et signalant ainsi un point de vue sur le théâtre comme figurant une spécificité particulière, nationale le plus souvent, et en rapport avec une langue, ou une manière de faire ou de se reconnaître dans des productions passées, un type d'intervention sur le monde, un jeu de formes-sens capable d'être transcrit d'un moment historique à un autre. Ainsi, répéter publiquement une pièce, c'est l'inscrire dans un répertoire. Dès lors, se pose la question du canon : pourquoi cette pièce-ci ou celle-là, où la jouer, comment la traiter ? Outre les articles qui cherchent à définir ce qu'est le répertoire aux XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles en France, le dossier propose des contributions sur le répertoire français en Russie et en Allemagne, et sur les premières traductions-adaptations de Molière en arabe. Il permet enfin de (re)lire sur ces questions des textes de metteurs en scène proches de nous, comme Jouvet ou Bozonnet.
