Post Scriptum Christer Strömholm is by far the largest monograph detailing the life and work of one of Swedens greatest photographers. With nearly 270 of Christer Strömholms best photographs, and including a biography by author Johan Tell and essays by journalist Carole Naggar and gallery owner Christian Caujolle. Christer Strömholm (1918-2002) is considered to be one of the most important Swedish photographers of our time. He spent most of his life in Sweden but early on made France his second home. He founded the legendary photography school Fotoskolan in Stockholm in 1962 and inspired an entire generation of photographers. His first book, Poste Restante, made him a renowned photographer and his depiction of transsexuals in the Paris of the 1960s resulted in Vännerna från Place Blanche (The Friends from Place Blanche). His images from travels in Japan, Spain and the United States have won wide acclaim and he is represented in several of the worlds leading museums. Christer Strömholm was appointed professor of photography by the Swedish government and was honoured with the prestigious Hasselblad Award in 1997.

Leigh Ledare (geboren in 1976, Seattle, USA) gebruikt afwisselend fotografie, archiefmateriaal en tekst om het menselijk handelen, maatschappelijke relaties, taboes en de fotografie zelf in vraag te stellen. Formeel getraind in de fotografie, ontwikkelde Ledare in een relatief korte tijd een opmerkelijk coherent oeuvre dat even complex en bijtend intelligent is als dat het, soms opzettelijk, provocerend is. Zijn tot op heden meest subversieve fotoserie is deze van zijn ouder wordende moeder, die zichzelf ontwapenend en expliciet blootgeeft voor de camera van haar zoon en voor het onbekende publiek dat de beelden zou kunnen zien. Deze voor de kunstenaar fundamentele serie is zeer belangrijk voor het begrijpen van een groot deel van zijn praktijk, waarin de schijnbare transgressiviteit van zijn oeuvre in feite een code is voor een bredere reflectie over de werking van de fotografie. Een recentere serie omvat vergelijkende collages van memorabilia, gevonden beelden en foto's van de ex-vrouw van de kunstenaar die zowel door Ledare zelf als door haar nieuwe echtgenoot werden genomen. Beiden trokken foto's van hun gedeelde onderwerp, soms in een tedere, soms in een grafische pose. Leigh Ledare, et al. is zijn eerste grote solo tentoonstelling en legt de nadruk op de centrale rol die anderen - moeder, familieleden, ex-geliefde, verzamelaars, anonieme klanten, etc. - spelen in zijn werk. Het omvat bijna al zijn fotografische series tot nu toe, net als videowerken, teksten en een aantal nooit eerder vertoonde werken.

Moments before the Flood is bij uitstek een fotografie van het wachten. Carl De Keyzer portretteert de unheimlichkeit van het onbestemde en het onzekere, met een meesterlijk oog voor de schoonheid ervan en met een weergaloos gevoel voor ironie. Het werd een visueel monument, dat op indringende wijze vastlegt hoe Europa omgaat met de dreiging van de klimaatopwarming.
