The world of press is facing challenges. With the emergence of the Internet and free information, the business model of traditional press groups is fully transforming. Sudpresse is a Belgian media company, leader of the regional daily press in the French speaking Belgian market. This media group launched its digital strategy few years ago. Now, it is time for innovation and diversification. The company wants to exploit the full potential of the new platforms that were developed during the last years. This thesis is a structured and precise model to analyse, develop and launch a digital diversification project meeting the customers’ needs. These needs were defined based on two quantitative surveys and a customer behaviour analysis. We present a method to plan and run projects, as well as practical examples to be executed. We used the « Business Model Canvas » and Marketing-Mix to structure the steps. We finally added a reflection on ethics, and business recommendations in order to provide a complete guide for launching successful actions.
