IDC 2020 is an annual conference series that focuses on the design and evaluation of technologies for and with children. It attracts a diverse trans-disciplinary community of researchers, designers, educators and practitioners. The conference was originally planned to take place in London, UK. It was moved online as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and global travel restrictions. The IDC community has always been tightknit and welcoming to new members. Though this year we will miss physically meeting both new and old colleagues, we look forward to learning how technology can foster a sustainable, inclusive and accessible conference.

A standard XML format for representing electronic design intellectual property (IP) quality information, based on an information model for IP quality measurement, is defined. It includes a schema and the terms that are relevant for measuring IP quality, including the software that executes on the system. The schema and information model can be focused to represent particular categories of interest to IP users. In the context of this document, the term IP shall be used to mean electronic design intellectual property. Electronic design intellectual property is a term used in the electronic design community to refer to a reusable collection of design specifications that represent the behavior, properties, and/or representation of the design in various media. Keywords: AMS, analog and mixed signal, design environment, EDA, electronic design automation, electronic system level, ESL, IEEE 1734, implementation constraints, MEMS, microelectromechanical systems, QIP, Quality IP metrics, register transfer logic, RTL, SCRs, semantic consistency rules, use models, verification IP, VIP, XML design meta data, XML schema.

Annotation This symposium is dedicated to the understanding and characterization of workloads that run on all types of computing systems New applications and programming paradigms continue to emerge rapidly as the diversity and performance of computers increase On one hand, improvements in computing technology are usually based on a solid understanding and analysis of existing workloads On the other hand, computing workloads evolve and change with advances in microarchitecture, compilers, programming languages, and networking communication technologies Whether they are smart phones and deeply embedded systems at the low end or massively parallel systems at the high end, the design of future computing machines can be significantly improved if we understand the characteristics of the workloads that are expected to run on them.
