Wird der Begriff ‚Exilliteratur‘ traditionell meist auf die zahlreichen Schriftsteller und Schriftstellerinnen bezogen, die während der NS-Zeit exiliert waren, so öffnet diese Studie den Blick auch auf andere deutschsprachige Texte, die im Exil verfasst wurden. Konkret befasst sich dieses Buch mit der Thematisierung und Inszenierung von Exil und Identitätskonstruktion in ‚Literatur exilierter Autoren und Autorinnen‘, die aus Iran stammen. In ihm wird gezeigt, dass das ‚Exil‘ als Sonderfall der ‚Migration‘ eine biografische Zäsur markiert und dass das literarische Schreiben vielen Exilierten daher der Trauerarbeit, der Traumaverarbeitung, der Kritik am Herkunfts- und Exilstaat sowie der kulturellen Neuverwurzelung dient. Nach einer theoretischen Erörterung über Leben und Schreiben im Exil sowie einer Vorstellung der iranischen Autoren und Autorinnen in Deutschland richtet sich der Fokus der Studie auf Texte von SAID und Sam Rapithwin, die exemplarisch untersucht werden.

Etude sur le livre D'un château l'autre où Céline décrit son séjour à Sigmaringen, une petite ville allemande qui abrita de septembre 1944 à avril 1945, les restes du gouvernement de Vichy, ainsi que des collaborateurs. Il y soigna cette colonie pendant cinq mois, et en tira un roman entre vérité et imagination.
