Travailler plus longtemps ? Oui, mais pas seulement En posant leurs « Regards pluriels » sur le vieillissement actif, les contributions de ce numéro des Politiques sociales entendent résolument ouvrir les yeux de son lectorat sur le potentiel, peu connu pour les non-experts et les citoyens de tous âges, de cette notion. Pour autant, les perspectives dEurope et dailleurs ne vont pas toutes dans le même sens : en fonction des données empiriques recueillies et des domaines daction étudiés (emploi, bénévolat, maintien à domicile, participation sociale, etc.), elles invitent à replacer les significations diverses de lactivité associée au vieillissement dans leurs contextes de production et dusage.Ce nest quà cette condition, permise par un travail collectif tel que le propose ce numéro, que lon pourra juger de la pertinence politique, scientifique et citoyenne dune telle notion.
