Waarom vertrekken mensen uit Nederland naar Syrië om daar te strijden? Waarom plegen sommige extreem-rechtse groepen geweld tegen “buitenlanders”? Vaak gaat daar een stapsgewijs proces van radicalisering aan vooraf.Zowel burgers als professionals (bestuurders, docenten, politieagenten, jeugdwerkers) krijgen steeds vaker te maken met jongeren die dit proces van radicalisering doormaken. Hun reactie op deze jongeren kan deze radicalisering verzwakken of versterken.
