Uit de ervaring van de auteurs blijkt dat kinderen en jongerendoorgaans graag 'filosoferen'. Vele leerkrachten en begeleiders zijn ook gemotiveerd om zelf 'iets met filosofie' te doen. Of ze filosoferen al op hun manier in lessen godsdienst, Nederlands, geschiedenis of tijdens bezinningsdagen of vormingsmomenten,... Maar een reflectie op deze praktijk dringt zich op.
