S tem vodnikom nadaljujemo s predstavitvami slovenskega zamejstva. Tokrat so v njem predstavljene ekskurzije, izvedene v južnem delu slovenskega zamejskega prostora v Italiji, v trikotniku med dolino Glinščice, Gradeško laguno in Goriškimi brdi. Čeprav so v knjigi sistematično podani naravnogeografski, družbenogeografski in regionalni opisi, problematika slovenstva, pomniki na krvave dogodke med prvo svetovno vojno in številne naravne znamenitosti na tem območju, velja tokrat izpostaviti opisa obeh mestnih središč, Trsta in Gorice, ki sta ju pripravila ugledna zamejska avtorja in jima vdahnila prepoznavno osebno noto.

This book is a travelogue about the cities of northern Spain. I travelled to Pamplona, Burgos, San Sebastian, Valladolid, Segovia, Leon, Gijon, Oviedo, Santiago de Compostela, Pontevedra, A Coruna, and Vigo on board the fast, modern trains of the Spanish railways. I describe the history of these places along with the sights seen plus some food and drink options available to all. The cities range from the familiar such as Pamplona with its bull running and Leon with its world-famous cathedral to those not so well-known cities such as Pontevedra with its pedestrianised centre and A Coruna where I saw the world's oldest lighthouse. There are extra stories about two pilgrimages of my own - to see the modern architecture of Santiago Calatrava in Valencia and to watch Lionel Messi play football in Barcelona.

Starting with the theme of travel and forced migration in the contemporary world, this work aims to reflect on the different forms of travel representations and state of the world in a resilience time. Specifically, we will analyse Metamorfoses da Humanidade (2018) of Graça Morais and Nómadas e Migrantes (2018) of José de Guimarães, to understand how these artists describe the humanity and the crisis of the migrants from the artifice of the image. If the concept of time-space, associated to the travel, usually refers to a space-temporal changing from a subject, the aim of this work is to reflect on the possibility to use the same concept for a different process, that involves space and time in other positions regarding to the subject, or else the physical immobility and the research during the time. In the last years some famous Brazilian novels deal not only with actual themes, but they find again their present origins in places cancelled by the urban palimpsest: the senzalas and the slavery live again in the echos of very different works as Becos da memória by Conceição Evaristo (2006), Passageiro do fim do dia by Rubens Figueiredo (2010), and O amor dos homens avulsos by Victor Heringer (2016).

The essay examines the travel photo-text genre from a theoretical point of view, through the example of Absolutely Nothing by Giorgio Vasta and Ramak Fazel. It discusses the key issues and perspectives within the theory and methodology of visual studies and visual culture and describes the opposition between the verbal and visual parts of the volume, understood as a "Struggle for Territory". This puts on strain the foundations of the travel story tradition, such as the narrative authentication.
