Een bundeling van de kaarten die Deligny en zijn help(st)ers en kinderen uittekenden om zo structuur te geven aan die wonderlijke wereld die ze samen opbouwden in de natuur van de Cévennes. Deze kaarten geven ons een mooi idee van de manier waarop autistische kinderen de wereld rond zich zien en beleven.

Dans le cadre de ses tentatives pédagogiques, ou anti-pédagogiques, Fernand Deligny (1913-1996), éducateur, écrivain, a manifesté de tout temps un intérêt pour le cinéma. Dans les textes de ce recueil, il s'interroge d'abord sur ce qu'une certaine pratique cinématographique, qu'il appelle "camérer" (plutôt que filmer), peut bien signifier. Puis, dans un dialogue serré avec lui-même et avec l'énigme de la perception autistique (il a vécu pendant trente ans avec des enfants autistes), il aborde l'image, une et multiple, celle qui ne se voit pas, celle qu'ont en partage le poète et le cinéaste, celle qui fait "repère" , celle qui ne se laisse pas prendre.La quasi-totalité des textes de Deligny et l'iconographie qui les accompagne sont inédits, de même que les essais critiques proposés par les meilleurs connaisseurs de son oeuvre.

Ouvrage culte pour les urbanistes et les architectes, Walkscapes fait de la marche beaucoup plus qu'une simple promenade. Pour Francesco Careri, en effet, l'origine de l'architecture n'est pas à chercher dans les sociétés sédentaires mais dans le monde nomade. L'architecture est d'abord traversée des espaces : ce que Careri appelle parcours. Ainsi le menhir, point de repère dans l'espace, à la croisée des chemins. La marche est esthétique, comme la conçoit André Breton pour la place Dauphine. Elle révèle des recoins oubliés, des beautés cachées, la poésie des lieux délaissés. La marche est politique. En découvrant ces espaces qui sont à la marge et cependant peuplés, elle montre que les frontières spatiales sont aussi des frontières sociales. Careri s'évade de la ville-événement pour errer dans ce qu'il appelle la Zonzo (la zone, l'espace exclu, à l'abandon, à la marge, inexploré et pourtant vivant). En se laissant porter par la marche, on franchit des frontières invisibles, on recompose une ville nouvelle. Ce livre passionnera, au-delà des architectes et des plasticiens, ces flâneurs et ces explorateurs qui font de la ville leur terrain de chasse privé.

Since the 1960s, the act of walking has provided a way for artists and musicians to escape the formality of the concert hall or institutional venue, engaging with shifting public spaces, natural environments, and the social and political sphere. Walking redefines notions of composer, performer, public, and music itself, while opening new modes of perception and action. Going Out addresses these developments by exploring the relationship between walking, listening, and soundmaking in the arts—from the first soundwalks and itinerant performances in the 1960s to today's manifold ambulatory projects. The book consists of an extensive essay by Elena Biserna followed by an anthology of historical and contemporary contributions in the form of documentation, essays, interviews, manifestos, scores, narratives, and reflections. Through the variety of these contributions, the book makes an argument that at the intersection of walking, listening, and soundmaking there is both a long legacy of interdisciplinary experimentations and a broad field that resounds with urgent issues in critical spatial thinking and practice.
