Abstract

Die Statistik enthält fundierte Informationen über die deutschen Volkshochschulen. Die jährliche Erhebung und Fortschreibung der Daten ist die Grundlage für Vergleiche und Langzeitbetrachtungen der wichtigsten Rahmenbedingungen und strukturellen Entwicklungen. Dazu gehören: Finanzierung, Personal, Kooperationen, Programmbereiche und Fachgebiete, Veranstaltungen, Teilnehmende und Beteiligung. Anhand der erhobenen Daten lassen sich Angebotsverläufe, Teilnahmequoten und Strukturveränderungen beobachten. Seit 1970 erhebt das Deutsche Institut für Erwachsenenbildung jährlich die Daten für diese repräsentative Statistik. Erfasst werden die Angaben von über 900 Volkshochschulen - das sind fast 100 Prozent der Bildungseinrichtungen. Die Ausgabe zum Arbeitsjahr 2017 wird ausschließlich digital publiziert und steht kostenfrei bei wbv-open-access.de zur Verfügung.

The publication relates to a digital learning system for building construction and building technology. It offers explanations of the didactic concept, technical documents, background information and an extensive collection of exemplary tasks for various target groups and subject areas. The digital 3D model of a two-family house clearly shows essential elements, construction and execution-related relationships and frequently occurring interface problems in buildings. During the virtual tour, constructive and technical building objects can be activated with a mouse click. A context-sensitive menu can be used to activate a wide range of information in different technical depths recall. Comprehensive information, drawings, guidelines, installation instructions and similar documents are provided via a wiki.

Abstract

In the quest for more and better lifelong learning, there is a growing awareness that qualifications systems must play a part. Some countries have started to realise that isolated developments in qualifications standards lead to uncoordinated, piecemeal systems. After reviewing the policies and practice in fifteen countries, the authors present nine broad policy responses to the lifelong learning agenda that countries have adopted and that relate directly to their national qualifications system. They also identify twenty mechanisms, or concrete linkages, between national qualifications systems and lifelong learning goals. The overall aim of this book is to provide these mechanisms as a tool for governments to use in reviewing their policy responses to lifelong learning. Evidence suggests that some mechanisms, such as those linked to credit transfer, recognition of prior learning, qualifications frameworks and stakeholder involvement, are especially powerful in promoting lifelong learning.
