You will learn by doing. First a brief crash course in Lua and Corona. Once this is done you will be thrown straight into creating fully functional complete games chapter by chapter. Certain chapters are reserved for adding advanced features such as multiple device integration, social networking and monetization. This book is for anyone who wants to have a go at creating commercially successfully games for Android and iOS. You don't need game development or programming experience.

This standard specifies the air interface, including the medium access control layer (MAC) and physical layer (PHY), of combined fixed and mobile point-to-multipoint broadband wireless access (BWA) systems providing multiple services. The MAC is structured to support the WirelessMAN-SC, WirelessMAN-OFDM, and WirelessMAN-OFDMA PHY specifications, each suited to a particular operational environment. The standard enables rapid worldwide deployment of innovative, cost-effective, and interoperable multivendor broadband wireless access products, facilitates competition in broadband access by providing alternatives to wireline broadband access, encourages consistent worldwide spectrum allocation, and accelerates the commercialization of broadband wireless access systems.

This book provides state-of-the-art scientific and engineering research findings and developments in the area of mobile robotics and associated support technologies. The book contains peer reviewed articles presented at the CLAWAR 2012 conference. Robots are no longer confined to industrial and manufacturing environments. A great deal of interest is invested in the use of robots outside the factory environment. The mobile Internet - understood as the usage of Internet services and protocols over wireless networks - is a technology which can be of beneficial use in companies. So far and in contrast to the use by private customers this area is still under development, which can be explained through the special conditions of IT-implementation in enterprises. Stefan Christmann therefore analyzes usage potentials and challenges of this technology and describes technical solutions to enable the application of mobile Internet in enterprises and to make it more economical. In the area of application development, the book focuses on an operating system independent programming with web technologies, which eliminates the need for multiple development processes.
