Le chômage des diplômés constitue l'un des défis les plus cruciaux auxquels la Tunisie est confrontée depuis les deux dernières décennies. Ce chômage, l'un des principaux facteurs de la révolution tunisienne, demeure très élevé en dépit de tous les efforts déployés depuis l'indépendance. L'objet principal de cet ouvrage concerne donc l'étude du chômage des diplômés du supérieur en Tunisie et les différentes problématiques inhérentes à ce phénomène, notamment ses causes et sa perception par les jeunes diplômés. Celui-ci met en relief plusieurs thèmes, en premier lieu l'évolution et les caractéristiques du chômage, notamment celui des diplômés du supérieur (selon : l'âge et le sexe, la durée, la région, le niveau d'études, la spécialité...). L'ouvrage apporte également les différentes explications et facteurs du chômage en général et celui des diplômés en particulier, notamment les facteurs sociodémographiques, les limites de la politique de l'emploi en Tunisie, les déterminants politiques et institutionnels, les facteurs économiques. Enfin, l'auteur aborde la question de la perception des jeunes diplômés du supérieur quant à leur situation, leur vision du chômage, de ses causes, des difficultés d'insertion professionnelle rencontrées et les principales suggestions pour l'amélioration de l'emploi des diplômés (et ce grâce aux résultats d'une enquête).
