Esta publicación es un testimonio generacional de Reynaldo Ledgard, pues estudia la arquitectura peruana desde la década de los años ochenta hasta la actualidad. Además, se analiza el rol del arquitecto en la realidad social y cultural en la que se encuentra inmerso. La relativa prosperidad económica de los últimos años en el Perú ha generado una importante actividad arquitectónica.
