Portretfotograaf Anton Corbijn houdt niet van terugkijken op zijn muziekwerk. Voor het boek ANTON 1-2-3-4 heeft hij dat voor een keer wel gedaan. In de loop der tijden werkte Corbijn intens samen met tal van muzikanten en bands. Daarbij hebben zijn vaak een bepalende rol gespeeld in het imago van de muzikanten.
