En 2015, les Français subissent avec stupeur les vagues d'attentats perpétrés au cœur de Paris par les soldats du Califat et découvrent la réalité du terrorisme islamiste. Un phénomène récent ? Au contraire, comme le prouve cette enquête inédite. Il démontre comment les attentats d'origine islamiste sévissent sur notre territoire avec des fondements idéologiques et des modes opératoires différents selon les époques. Les renseignements français, depuis les années 1960, se sont illustrés dans cette lutte complexe par leur compétence et leurs techniques d'investigation toujours à la pointe. Pourtant de lourdes défaillances ont émergé ces dernières années. Aurait-on oublié une partie du savoir-faire ? Dans cette enquête passionnante et très documentée, le journaliste reconstitue plus de 60 ans de lutte antiterroriste et dresse un tableau sans concessions de cette guerre de l'ombre pour mieux montrer combien l'Histoire éclaire la dure actualité.

This collection of papers examines a variety of areas and issues related to, or raised by, the EU Internal Security Strategy. It covers such matters as critical infrastructure protection and environmental crime, from a range of disciplinary perspectives, including law, geography and politics. The EU Internal Security Strategy is becoming increasingly complex as it develops over time, as it has to operate against the background of growing diversity in law enforcement systems across EU member states. It is clear that the EU Internal Security Strategy is, and will continue to be for a long time, a work in progress, not only in its aim to address traditional transnational security threats, but also in reacting to emerging concerns, either in new crime areas or issues arising from the implementation of earlier phases of the strategy. This will be a subject matter for many academic discipline areas for some time to come.
