In dem Buch werden folgende Glücksspiele näher untersucht: Zahlenlotto ";6 aus 49";, Auswahlwette ";6 aus 45";, Fußballtoto 11er-Wette, ODDSET-Kombiwette (Sportwette), Lotterien Spiel 77 und Super 6, Glücksspirale, Aktion Mensch-Lotterie (bis März 2000: Aktion Sorgenkind-Lotterie), ARD-Fernsehlotterie ";Die Goldene 1";, Klassenlotterien uns Roulette. Bei den einzelnen Glücksspielen werden die Chancen für die jeweiligen Quoten, soweit möglich, angegeben. Falls die Quoten von der jeweiligen Anzahl der Gewinne in den entsprechenden Klassen abhängen und nicht fest vorgegeben sind, werden die theoretischen (erwarteten) Quoten untersucht. Beim Zahlenlotto wird ferner das Tippverhalten der Spieler untersucht. Falls man sehr beliebte Tippreihen meidet, können dadurch im Gewinnfall die Quoten erhöht werden.
