Kiki houdt van wandelen op het strand. Dat doet ze altijd als ze in de zomer bij opa komt logeren. Kiki vindt het strand de mooiste plek van de hele wereld. Maar dan merkt ze plots dat het strand vol met vuil ligt. Daar wordt Kiki heel boos van en ze doet er wat aan. Het verhaal van Kiki is vooral geschreven om kinderen gevoelig te maken voor het thema vervuiling. De boodschap is duidelijk: vermijd afval en als je toch afval produceert, recycleer het!
