Boris en zijn hond Basje zijn de hele dag druk op de boerderij. Prentenboek met kleurige schilderingen en tekst op rijm om het alfabet mee te oefenen. Vanaf ca. 4 jaar.Annie Beullens, 22 januari 2015Boris woont op de boerderij. Met zijn hondje Bas speelt en werkt hij de hele dag. In 26 prenten met telkens een tweeregelig versje eronder wordt beschreven wat Boris doet. In elke tekst staat ook een woord cursief gedrukt; het begint met een letter volgens het alfabet. Die letter wordt dan nog eens in het rood in hoofd- en kleine letter onderaan de bladzijde gezet. De versjes lopen vlot, bijvoorbeeld bij de B: Buiten wordt er druk gekakeld. Boris draagt het kippenvoer./ ?Geef de haan een handje extra ? goed zo, Boris!? roept de boer. Voor de Q, de X en de Y worden creatieve oplossingen gevonden. Bij de Y wijst de tekst naar de bretellen van de boer maar de bok om hout op te zagen heeft ook de vorm van een Y. Het zou leuk geweest zijn als er op andere prenten ook letters verstopt waren. Aan het eind worden alle letters nog eens naast elkaar gezet. Dit boekje is instructief en bedoeld om het alfabet op een speelse manier te leren. Archist is a playful interpretation of the expressive language and aesthetics of some of the world's most popular artists. For example, Babina tried to imagine what a house designed by Dali or a museum conceived by Miro would look like. The illustrations represent an imaginary and imagined world of shapes. Federico Babina finds great pleasure in imagining architecture designed and constructed through the interpretation of an artist's language.The book shows that there is a symbiotic relationship and implicit partnership between architecture and art. A sculpture is like micro-architecture, a facade can become like a painted canvas and a building can look like it was shaped by a skilled sculptor. The posters in the book manage to catch the essence of the oeuvre of the artists in question.
