El autor introduce el neologismo POPaganda, o propaganda fucsia, para plantear las diferencias entre las nuevas dinámicas y las clásicas de la estrategia de comunicación propagandística. La narración se ocupa de aclarar el umbral entre publicidad y propaganda, dejando claro que, desde el lenguaje vernacular y la apropiación popular se hacen usos imprecisos de ambos conceptos, pero también, se plantea una nueva naturaleza propagandística en la que la intención estratégica del discurso propagandístico institucional pierde legitimidad y cobra fuerza la interacción de personas que, con o sin intención, hacen o apoyan propaganda de manera espontánea y natural a través de su interacción en redes sociales.
