Raed Andoni, auteur réalisateur, a mal à la tête, au sens propre comme au figuré. Cela l'empêche de travailler. Tirana : Après des décennies de dictature, l’Albanie est à un moment-clé de son histoire. Pourtant, dans l'imaginaire collectif, "l'Albanie n'existe pas". Face à ce défaut d'images, Alexander Schellow utilise sa technique de reconstruction mémorielle par le dessin et multiplie les approches : prises de vues réelles, interviews, images satellites, voix-off… Et questionne ainsi les critères qui fondent une société civile au moment-même où elle est en train de naître. Ramallah : Au terme de trois mois en immersion totale, Flavie Pinatel propose de restituer à l'écran la ville de Ramallah comme une expérience physique et sensorielle. À travers les portraits de ses habitants, elle cherche, le temps d'un film, à sortir cette ville de son drame et la révéler comme un cœur battant, une ville du 21ème siècle. Ramallah, Tirana. Deux noms, deux villes que tout semble opposer. La première, capitale administrative de fait d'un des territoires les plus médiatisés, la Palestine. L'autre, capitale d'un pays méconnu à la géographie improbable bien qu'au cœur de l'Europe, l'Albanie. Deux titres de films qui interrogent chacun selon des voies différentes la réalité, ses représentations, et l'imaginaire qui les anime…

Wir leben in einer verflochtenen und dennoch geteilten Welt: Asymmetrien, Grenzziehungen und Politiken der Differenz bringen gleichzeitig die Trennlinien und den gemeinsamen Kontext für globales Zusammenleben hervor. Diese Ambivalenz schlägt sich auch in der deutschen Auswärtigen Kulturpolitik nieder, die sich ursprünglich an den Ordnungen des Nationalen orientiert hat, seit der Jahrtausendwende aber zunehmend auch geopolitische Bruchlinien und Konflikte als ihre Arbeitsfelder begreift. Basierend auf Feldforschungen in Berlin, Ramallah, Sarajevo, Tel Aviv und Jerusalem zeichnet Jens Adam Formierungs- und Übersetzungsprozesse einer neuen Policy nach. Er eröffnet damit Einblicke in translokale Wissens- und Handlungsräume, in denen sich Ordnungen des Nationalen und Potenziale der Kosmopolitisierung kreuzen.
