Un traitement de seconde ligne, les corticostéroïdes inhalés est bien plus utilisé que ce préconisent les recommandations GOLD 2017. De ce fait, le patient se retrouve exposé à des effets secondaires qui peuvent être délétères. Le but de ce mémoire est d’une part de synthétiser les différents effets secondaires auxquels s’expose le patient, et d’autre part de s’interroger sur le rôle de conseiller que peut endosser le pharmacien d’officine. Il a également pour objectif de définir les différents aspects de la mission du professionnel de la santé, aussi bien dans la prévention, la détection, l’accompagnement de la délivrance et le suivi du patient.
