Annoncée depuis de nombreuses années, la loi sur les beaux de résidence principale a finalement été adoptée par la loi du 20 février 1991. Le présent ouvrage est le premier qui, en langue française, est consacrée exclusivement à ce nouveau type de bail et en aborde tous les aspects essentiels. Sans procéder à des bouleversements fondamentaux, la loi nouvelle a créé une nouvelle catégorie de contrats de location, à côté des baux commerciaux et des baux à ferme. Cette législation - réglementant un contrat usuel qui concerne un grand nombre de bailleurs et de locataires - présente une réelle technicité et des complications certaines. L'ouvrage décrit l'ensemble de ces mécanismes nouveaux, relève les principales sources de difficultés et analyse de manière complète le texte nouveau, notamment à la lumière de la réforme du Code civil en la matière. Il est le complément de l'ouvrage consacré en 1993 par Bernard Louveaux aux principes généraux du droit du bail, dans la même collection.

Wesley Olmstead examines the parables of the Two Sons, the Tenants and the Wedding Feast against the backdrop of the wider Matthean narrative. He explores Matthew's characterization of the Jewish leaders, the people and the nations, and assesses the respective roles of Israel and the nations in the plot of Matthew's Gospel. Against the current of contemporary Matthean scholarship, Olmstead argues both that the judgement this trilogy announces falls upon Israel (and not only her leaders) and that these parables point to the future inclusion of the nations in the nation that God had promised to raise up from Abraham. Bringing both literary-critical and redaction-critical tools to bear on the texts at hand, Olmstead not only elucidates the intended meanings of this parabolic trilogy but also attempts to determine the responses they elicited from their first readers. Transcending Matthean scholarship, this book has implications for all Gospel studies.
